the Baptist Roman Catholic

and president of St. Vincent DePaul Society; all of Perryopolis.
He was president of Fox Grocery Credit Union; a past member of the Charleroi Elks; and a
past member of the Laurel
Swingers Square Dance Club.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of
the Korean Conflict. He and his
wife; Anna L. Ricotta Van Fleet;
would have celebrated 45 years
of marriage on Oct. 24; 1998.
Survivors; in addition; to his
wife; include three sons and
daughters-in-law; Kevin P. and
Eileen Van Fleet of Greensburg;
Jeffrey A. and Sandra Van Fleet
of Dayton; Ohio; and Daniel J.
and Margaret S. Van Fleet of
Dayton; Ohio; four grandchildren; Bradley K.; Ryan L.;
Catherine L.; and Rachel C. Van
Fleet; one brother and sister-in-law; Robert C. and Yvonne Van
Fleet of Scottdale.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by one
sister; Sheila D. Mencer.

Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home Inc.; 106 E. Independence St.; Perryopolis. Mrs.Vincent was a homemaker. She was Catholic by faith. She was a member of St.Anthony Roman Catholic Church;Monongahela. Surviving are two daughters;Frances Fusco of Monongahela and Margaret Pilarcik of Elizabeth;eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Peter Vincent;who died July 20;1957;a son;Peter D.Vincent;a brother;Michael Vesely and two sisters;Anna Hald and Cecelia Vesely. A lifelong member of the Belle Vernon community;he was also a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. He was retired from the P&LE Railroad where he was employed as a supervisor. A veteran of World War II;he served in the U.S.Army and was a member of the Disabled Veterans Association.
