Hospital. She was born April
25;1944; in North Charleroi; a
daughter of the late John W.
and Bertha A. Kelly McGinty.
Mrs. Thompson was a member
of the Mt. Tabor Methodist
Church and the American
Medical Technologist
Association. She was formerly
employed as a phlebotomist at
Mon Valley Hospital; and as a
medical assistant and lab technician at Mon Valley Medical
Associates; Carroll Township.
She is survived by her husband; John L. Thompson; two
daughters and a son-in-law;
Julie Thompson Rodriguez of
Fallowfield Township and Judy
and her husband; Larry
Lupori; of Peters Township; a
sister and brother-in-law;
Sandra and Homer Osborne of
Fallowfield Township; a sister-in-law; Sara Beth Scull of
Cochraton; four grandchildren;
Travist and Kevin Rodriguez
and Jordan and Joseph Lupori;
two nieces;Rosalie Smiles and
Arlene Fielo; and two nephews;
Jason M. Osborne and Brian
Porter. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death
by a brother; Daniel McGinty.

Nicholas (Nick) Turik;84;of Belle Vernon;died Tuesday;Jan.25;2000;in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born Nov.2;1915;in Fayette City;a son of the late Peter and Susanna Carpal Turik. He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel;Allenport plant. He was a veteran of World War II;serving with the U.S.Army and was a member of the American Legion Post 484 of Fayette City and VFW Post 167 in Charleroi. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by three brothers;Charles;John and Mike Turik;and one sister;Susanne Kozar. Survivors include his wife;Pia Bachmeier Turik;two sisters;Mary Wenick of Charleroi;and Ann Badini of Monongahela;and several nieces and nephews. There will be no public viewing and services will be private for the family. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Memorial contributons may be made to the Salvation Army.

Lennis A.Taylor;86;of Pittsburgh;formerly of Arnold City;died Sunday;Aug.29;1999;in West Penn Hospital;Pittsburgh;after a lengthy illness. Mrs.Taylor was born July 3;1913;in West Elizabeth;the daughter of the late Monroe and Lucillia Brown Randall. A retired beautician;she was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church of Belle Vernon and the Elite Temple 92 Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by a son;Monroe Young of Pittsburgh;a daughter;Treva Laidley of Pittsburgh;five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Besides her parents;whe was also preceded in death by her husband;Clarence Taylor;a brother;Joseph Randall;and two sisters;Harriett Ross and Margaret Glascoe. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday until 1 p.m. in the Antioch Baptist Church;Belle Vernon;where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. with the Rev.Clifford Carter officiating. Church; Belle Vernon.

Virginia; and Maureen and
Gary Sandor of Florida; two
sons and one daughter-in-law;
Thomas Tollan of Carmichaels;
and Daniel and Beatrice Tollan
of Belle Vernon R.D.; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and one sister and
brother-in-law; Elizabeth and
Dominick Caniginni of Fairhope; Belle Vernon.
