Wilfred E.Young;70;of Second Street;Newell;died Thursday;March 6;1986;at 11:58 a.m. in Uniontown Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Fayette City;Jan.16;1916;he was a son of the late James and Elizabeth Park Young. Mr.Young was a Protestant by faith. He was a veteran of the U.S.Army;serving in World War II. Mr.Young retired from the Allied Chemical Corp.;Newell plant. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a brother;James V.Young in 1973. Mr.young retired as a mechanic from the Monongahela Ford Co. He was a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion;the Charleroi Sportsmen’s Club and the Allenport Rod and Gun Club. He was retired from the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Frances;three brothers;Alfred;Ralph and Ernest Yakich;and a sister;Florence Rapsack.
