Rose M.Walters;76;formerly of Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;March 10;1999 in Monongahela Valley Hospital. Mrs.Walters was born Aug.17;1922 in Buffington;the daughter of the late Frank and Marie Kanoposky. She was a member of St.Sebastian’s Roman Catholic Church and a resident of Charleroi Personal Care Home for the past two years. She is survived by three sons;William L.Walters of Chula Vista;Calif.;David A.Walters of McKeesport and Jeffrey D.Walters of Monessen;three daughters;Mrs.Edward (Denise) Stasko;Roxanne Pocky and Pam Walters of Belle Vernon;six grandchildren;and two great-grandchildren. Besides her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;William H.Walters in 1966;two brothers;Joseph and Frank Kanoposky;and a sister;Ann Balerio. He was born Dec. 11;1934; in
Elizabeth Township; a son of
the late William and Grace Gephart Werner. Mr. Werner was Protestant
by faith and was a member of
the Roscoe Slovak Club; the
Fairhope and Allenport Rod &
Gun clubs; and the Belle Vernon
American Legion.
He was employed by Interstate Paper Co. of Roscoe.
He served in the U.S. Army
during the Korean War.
