Mr.Zimmaro was a member of the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City. He was a member of the Eagles;VFW Post 1190 and the Mutual Aid;all of Monessen. He was also a member of the Belle Vernon Moose and American Legion. He was employed at the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Laurie Echart Zombeck of Maryellen Drive;North Versailles;was pronounced dead on Tuesday;Feb.11;1986;at 6 p.m. in Braddock General Hospital. Mrs.Zombeck;who was pregnant;sustained fatal injuries in an accident along Route 30 in east suburban Pittsburgh. She was 26. Her child died as a result of the accident. A native of Rostraver Township;she was born Aug.25;1959;a daughter of Raymond and Arlene Hille Echart of Belle Vernon;who survive. Mrs.Zombek lived in North Versailles for the past three years. She was raised in the Belle Vernon area and was a member of the Pricedale Union Church. Mrs.Zombek was a 1977 graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School and a 1978 graduate of the Douglas Business School. She was employed as a clerk for the Monongahela Connecting Railroad in Pittsburgh.
