She was born in Dexter City;Ohio;on Sept.4;1891;and had lived in the Belle Vernon area her entire life. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. Her husband;John W.Ashley;died in 1964. Surviving are two daughters;Mrs.Ruth Veach of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Lester (June) Hawk of Belle Vernon R.D.4;with whom she resided;three brothers;Chance Mugrage and Floyd Mugrage;both of Baltimore;Md.;and Lawrence Mugrage of Fayette City;one sister;Mrs.Gladys Horvath of Baltimore;Md.;one grandson;Donald Evans of Belle Vernon;and five grandchildren.
