Monessen’s oldest resident; Domenico Bindi; 99;of 10 Delrose Drive;died Thursday;June 5;1969 at 8:30 a.m. Mr. Bindi;who would have been 100 on Nov.3; had lived
in Monessen since 1901.He was a member of St. Cajetan R. C. Church; Monessen; and its Holy Name Society.He was a
retired employe of the Monessen
plant of Wheeling- Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;where be had been
foreman in the construction department.
Surviving are two sons; George of Monessen; with whom
be made his home;and Harry
of Independence; Mo.; five
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and a sister in Genoa;
Italy. His wife; Laura Parigi Bindi; died on July 7; 1944. Friends will be received at
the Raymond D. Dalfonso Funeral Home;Monessen; after 7 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Friday.
