Joseph J.Bercini;51;of Dunlevy;a former member of Dunlevy Borough Council;died Wednesday;Sept.8;1965;at 7:50 a.m.in Veterans Administration Hospital at Oakland;Pittsburgh. Mr.Bercini worked as a machine operator at the Allenport plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co. A World War II veteran;having served with the U.S.Coast Guard as a radioman;he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars;Catholic War Vets;Garibaldi Lodge in Dunlevy;Charleroi Sportsman Association;Mother of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church of Charleroi;and the Holy Name Society of the church. Mr.Bercini was a former Dunlevy soccer player. He was born in Dunlevy on March 9;1914;the son of the late Pete and Julia Danesi Bercini.
