Mr.Bell;54;was pronounced dead on arrival at Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital at 7:55 p.m. He was born in Belle Vernon on Nov.10;1922;a son of Samuel and Cora Bell;and had lived in Fairhope the past six years. He formerly resided in Perryopolis. A veteran of service in the U.S.Navy during World War II;he was a member of American Legion Post 659 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post;both of Belle Vernon;and the American Citizens Slovanic Club of Fayette City. He worked as a tinner at the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Mr.Barron was born July 15;1907;in Monessen and was a resident of Rostraver Twp.for 38 years. For 18 years;until the time of his death he had owned and operated the Barron Holiday Motel at Route 51 and Interstate 70 south. He retired from the fabric department at the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.in 1960. Mr.Barron was recognized as an avid sportsman;hunter;and fisherman. He was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Surviving are his widow;Catherine Pivarnik Barron;two brothers;Henry of Port Richey;Fla.;and Emil of Belle Vernon R.D.4;two nieces and two nephews.
