Alonzo H.(Buddy)Clegg;50;of 110 Main St.;Belle Vernon;died suddenly Wednesday;June 24;1970;at 12:30 a.m. Charleroi police said Clegg had been permitted to sleep in the borough jail Tuesday night. His body was discovered shortly after midnight. Washington County Deputy Coroner Harold Schrock of Charleroi performed an autopsy and attributed death to a cerebral hemorrhage. Born in West Newton;Mr.Clegg had lived in Belle Vernon most of his life. Mr.Clegg was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict and was a former employee of the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.
