The Rev.Henry F.Coffey;87;of Grant St.;Belle Vernon;died on Saturday;May 12;1973;at 3:50 p.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Jacksonville;Fla.on October 11;1885;son of the late Henry F.and Fannie Coffey. He had lived in Belle Vernon the past 22 years and is super anuated minister of the Pittsburgh Conference of Third Episcopal District of the AME Church. Mr.Coffey had served several churches in the Mon Valley and at present was associate pastor of Wayman AME Church;Monessen. He also belonged to Twin Lodge 67 F&AM;Pricedale;NAACP and Golden Age Assembly;both of Belle Vernon. He was chaplain of the 11th Masonic District and was past worthy patron of the Star of Bethlehem Chapter 34;Monessen. He had served as captain;lieutenant and trustee with the fire company and remained an active member even after moving to Monessen from Belle Vernon nine years ago.
