Walter R.Colvin Jr.;63;of Belle Vernon R.D.4;died suddenly on Monday;April 28;1975 at 5:30 p.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. Born Jan.29;1912;in Belle Vernon;he was a son of the late Walter and Bertha McEwen Colvin. Until his retirement three years ago;Mr.Colvin was employed by the Otto Milk Co. He was a U.S.Navy veteran of World War II. Mr.Colvin was a former trustee;deacon and elder of the Rehoboth Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon and was formerly superintendent of the church’s Sunday school. Surviving are his widow;Frances Wallace Colvin;two sons;Kenton R.of Belle Vernon;and Jan P.of Barberton;Ohio;one sister;Mrs.Richard (Viola) Weightman of Belle Vernon R.D.4;and four grandchildren. Anna Carini;91;of 627 Green St.;Belle Vernon;died unexpectedly on Sunday;Jan.19;1975;at 9:45 a.m.in Washington Hospital;an hour after she had been admitted. Mrs.Carini was born in Austria on Aug.18;1883;and lived in Belle Vernon the past 75 years. She was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. She was preceded in death by her husband;Joseph E.Carini in 1948.
