Mrs. Dayner; a resident of

member of St. Sebastian’s Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon; and its Confraternity of
Christian Mothers.
She was born Aug. 12; 1892; at
Lincoln Place; Allegheny County.
Her husband; Frank R.; died
Feb. 17; 1966.
She is survived by two sons;

Clarence of Warren; Ohio; one
daughter; Mrs. Albert (Thelma M.) Catrino of Belle Vernon; three brothers; Benjamin

William R. Dawson; Sr.; 79; of 128 Jean St.; Belle Vernon; died Friday;Jan.6;1967;at 6:31 a.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital.
Mr. Dawson had lived in Belle Vernon 17 years; coming to Belle Vernon from Monessen.
He was a conductor for the P. & L. E. Railroad; retiring in 1955.
Mr. Dawson; who was born at New Salem Sept. 13; 1887; was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon.
Surviving are his widow; Margaret Monks Dawson; three sons; Gerald Lee Dawson of Detroit; Mich.; Ralph B. Dawson of Rialto; Calif.; William R. Dawson Jr. ; staff sergeant with the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam; two daughters; Mrs. Orlando (Arlene) FOREMAN and Mrs. Frank (Margaret) CAMPBELL of Monessen; a step-son; James R. Mrs. Ethel G. Derby; a former Monessen resident; died yesterday at 6:45 p.m. in Waddington Rest
Home at Fayette City R. D. 1.
Mrs. Derby; who was born at Eaton Rapids; Mich.; came to Monessen in 1903 where she was an active
member of First Methodist Church. She was a past regent of the DAR; Monongahela Valley Chapter.
Mrs. Derby left Monessen in 1943 for Battle Creek; Mich.; where she worked at practical nursing;
retiring from this profession eight years ago.
Surviving are the following children: Carroll and Mrs. George (Dorothy) Curry of Belle Vernon; Mrs
William G. (June) Wiley of Tampa; Fla.; and Harvey of Penrose; Colo.; nine grandchildren and nine
great-grandchildren; a brother; Herbert Logan of Eaton Rapids; Mich.
A son; Dwight; died in January of 1964.
Friends will be received at the H. Denver Rhome Funeral Home in Monessen after 2 p.m. tomorrow.
