A former Belle Vernon woman;Wilma Jean Venneri Dudgeon;was fatally injured in an auto accident Saturday morning;January 15;1972;in Warren;Ohio. Mrs.Dudgeon;22;is the daughter of Mr.and Mrs.William N.Venneri of Belle Vernon.Venneri is a former Belle Vernon Borugh mayor and presently a councilman. She was dead on arrival Saturday morning at 2:15 a.m.in Trumbull Memorial Hospital;Warren;following the crash. She was in a car with two girl companions;both of whom were seriously injured. The girls were working companions at the Anchor Transportation Corp.at Lordstown;Ohio. Mrs.Dudgeon was born Feb. 11;1949 and was a graduate of the Class of 1967 of Belle Vernon Area High School. She had worked as a teller in the Belle Vernon branch of Western Pennsylvania National Bank. Surviving are a daughter;Michele Renee;at home;her parents;brothers;William Jr.;at home and Arthur Baumgardner of Detroit and a sister;Vickie;at home. Also surviving are her paternal grandparents;Mr.and Mrs.Charles Venneri of Belle Vernon and maternal grandparents;Mr.and Mrs.Harry Sethman Sr.of Elks Place;Belle Vernon. Anthony DeFazio;64; of 434 Green St.;Belle Vernon; died Saturday;November 13;1971 at 9:30 p.m. in Charleroi- Monessen Hospital. Born in Fayette City on Nov. 14;1906;Mr.DeFazlo lived most of his life in Belle Vernon and was a member of the Sons of Italy lodge there. He had retired as a welder at the Pillsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad’s Glassport yards.
Surviving are his widow;Mrs. Mary Falbo DeFazio;two sons; DonaId A. of Munhall and Thomas A. of North Versailles;one daughter;Mrs.Edward (Betty) Blacka of Plum Borough;two sisters;Mrs. Henry Evans and Mrs.Guido Simboli;both of Belle Vernon;and five grandchildren.

He was born in Coalvale;Tenn.;a son of the late Stephen and Amanda Smith Davenport. He was a retired millwright of the Charleroi plant of Corning Glass Works. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose 338;Roscoe; Slovak Club of Roscoe;Allenport Rod and Gun Club;Turkeyfoot Rod and Gun Club of Confluence.
