Mrs.Louisa (LuLu) Kraft Easton;88;of Bradenton;Fla.;formerly of Belle Vernon;died Monday;Feb.7;1966;at 6 p.m.in a Bradenton hospital. She had lived in Belle Vernon until 10 years ago. Mrs.Easton was a member of the Order of Eastern Star;Belle Vernon Chapter 196 and the First Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. Her husband;Haylet Easton;died in 1956. Surviving are one daughter;Gladys Easton of Bradenton;with whom she made her home;one son;Wilfred E.;who operates Easton’s Pharmacy in Charleroi;one grandson and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home in Belle Vernon from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.on Feb.9. Mr. Evans was president of the
Hungarian Club in Pricedale and
a member of the Hungarian
B. L. S. of Monessen. He served as secretary treasurer of the William Penn Fraternal Association;
Branch 7 of Pricedale. Born in Hungary on April 27;
1895; he bad been a resident of
Pricedale for over 50 years. He
was a United Mine worker; retiring from the Sommers No. 4
mine in Pricedale. Following his retirement he was steward at the
Hungarian Club until 1961; a post
he held for two years.
He was a member of St. Sebastian’s R. C. Church in Belle
Vernon.
Surviving are his widow; Christina Slavischalk Evans; one son;
John George Evans of Andrews;
S. C.; two daughters; Mrs. Alvin
(Caroline) Zeimet of Cleveland;
Ohio; and Donna Marie Evans at
home; one brother; Ziga of Belle
Vernon R. D.; three sisters; Mrs.
Mary Evans of Terrytown; N. Y.;
Mrs. Elizabeth Vargo of Long
Island; N. Y.; and Julia in Europe. Three grandchildren also
survive.
