Alice Gaggini Sichi; 92; formerly of Seldom Seen; Belle Vernon; died Thursday; May 2; 2002; at 9:06 a.m. at Country Care Manor; Washington Township. Born Nov. 3; 1909; in Fredericktown; she was a daughter of the late Silvio and Maria Orsucci Gaggini. Mrs. Sichi was a resident of Belle Vernon for the past 65 years and a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon. She was a retired housekeeper for several prominent families in the Belle Vernon area. Mrs. Sichi was a member of the Belle Vernon; Charleroi; and Fayette City Golden Age assemblies and The Melody Makers singing group. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Lloyd and Donna Sichi of North Belle Vernon; two sisters and a brother-in-law; Jenny and Andy Jugan of Belle Vernon and Nellie Behrendt of Fallowfield Township; one granddaughter; Sharon and husband Brad Manown of Rostraver Township; and one great-granddaughter; Lindsey Manown of Rostraver Township. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Orlando Sichi; in July 1964; four brothers; Arthur; Peter; Roger and Albert Gaggini; and one sister; Londina Zinanni. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held Saturday; May 4; in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian Parish will pray the rosary Friday at 3 p.m. and the North Belle Vernon Fire Department will conduct services at 7 p.m.; both in the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Alice Sichi to the Belle Vernon Public Library.
