Walter F.Fryske;63;of 744 Speer St.;Belle Vernon;died Sunday July 3;1977;at 7:05 p.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital following a lengthy illness.  He was born in Belle Vernon on May 2;1914;a son of the late Theodore and Caroline Malec Frycki;and had been a lifelong resident of the area.  Mr.Fryske retired in 1972 after having been a self-employed strip miner.  He belonged to St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;and the Holy Name Society of the parish.  He was also a member of American Legion Post 659;Belle Vernon;and the Fairhope Rod and Gun Club.  Surviving are his widow;Helen B.Kluska Fryske;two daughters;Mrs.Alex (Mary Ann) Basits Jr.of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Edward (Charlotte) Adametz of Pittsburgh;two brothers;Theodore Frycki of Layton and Francis Frycki of Belle Vernon;and four grandchildren;Rachel Adametz of Pittsburgh and Laurie;Susan and Lex Basits of Belle Vernon.  Friends will be received at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday.  Blessing services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Parish Rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Wednesday at 8 p.m.  Leonard J.Parzynski is funeral director in charge.  

Walter J.Felix;70;of 326 Graham St.;Belle Vernon;died Saturday;June 25;1977;at 11:15 a.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. Born in Snowden on March 13;1907;he was a son of the late Joseph and Jacobina Weidel Felix. He had resided in Belle Vernon since 1974 and had previously lived in Monessen. Mr.Felix retired in 1972 as a wire drawer with the Page Plant of American Chain and Cable Co. His wife;Sophie Blatt Felix;preceded him in death on April 8;1976. Surviving are two daughters;Mrs.Stephen (Lucille) Druash of Monessen and Mrs.Joseph (Karen) Taravella of Monongahela R.D.1;three brothers;Robert and Ernest Felix;both of Library R.D.;and Albert Felix of Pittsburgh;four sisters;Mrs.James Mead of Elrama;Mrs.Kenneth Hahn of Pittsburgh;Mrs.William Guskey of Venetia and Mrs.Kenneth Koppitz of Finleyville;and three grandchildren. He was born in Poland on

Mr. Flyklo was a member of

Belle Vernon and the United
Mine Workers of America.
He was a retired coal miner.

Born in South Brownsville on Oct.11;1923;she was a daughter of the late Andrew G.Laird and of Edith Stemberg Laird;who survives. Mrs.Ferguson was a member of the First Uunited Methodist Church of Belle Vernon and the Esther Circle of the church. She was a past president of the United Methodist Women. She was also a member and past president of the Tuesday evening Civic Club and belonged to the Charleroi Division Auxiliary of Mon Valley Hospital;Inc. Mt.Flora;a retired merchant;was the former owner of Flora’s Tavern at Fayette City R.D.1 for 26 years. He was active in business and civic affairs of the community. Born in Belle Vernon on March 3;1903;he was a son of the late Jack and Tomasina Luperto Flora. He belonged to St.Sebastian’s Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;and the Belle Vernon and Monessen Golden Age Clubs.
