Clinton L.Harper;88;a retired Allenport grocery merchant;died Saturday morning;Jan.30;1965;at 5 a.m.in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. An Allenport resident;he was born in Vanderbilt;Oct.24;1876. He was a member of the Methodist Church;Allenport and Gummert Lodge 252 Free and Accepted Masons;Fayette City. Surviving are his widow;Nellie Jones Harper;a brother;Harry Harper;Monessen and several nieces and nephews. George C.Holdsworth;68;was found dead at his home;213 Wood St.;Belle Vernon;on Tuesday;December 22;1964. Mr.Holdsworth was born in Wilkes-Barre;July 4;1896. A veteran of World War I;he was retired from the Allenport Plant;Pittsburgh Steel Co.;in June;1962. He was preceded in death by his widow;Janet Eller Holdsworth. There are no survivors listed. Joseph Hayduk;83;of 837 Hill St.;Belle Vernon;died Saturday morning;October 31;1964; at 3:05 o’clock in Brownsville General hospital. Mr.Hayduk was a retired coal miner. Surviving are three sons;Stephen;of Gary;Ind.;Vincent;of Perryopolis and John;of Belle Vernon;and four grandchildren.
