A son of Joseph J.Hopkins and Nancy J.Martin Hopkins;he was born in Monessen on May 25;1902. He was a Monessen resident his entire lifetime. He was employed as an electrician at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel’s Monessen Plant until his retirement in 1967. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church;F&AM Lodge 629;Royal Arch Chapter;all of Monessen;and McKean Commandery of Charleroi. He was preceded in death by his wife;Goldie Chapman Hopkins;in July;1968;and by his daughter;Linda Lee Hopkins;in March;1969.
