Silvio Innocenti;72;of 12 Sampson St.;Belle Vernon;died suddenly Saturday morning;January 31;1959. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Italian Beneficial Society and was a member of the Belle Vernon Musical Society Band. He operated the VERDI Theater in Belle Vernon for a number of years. Monessen Police Chief Joseph Mischyshyn said today that John Hardy Sr.;62 Schoonmaker Ave.;Monessen;died as the result of being struck by an automobile early Friday morning;Dec.23;1977. He was found lying on a sidewalk in the 200 block of Schoonmaker Ave.;at 2:37 a.m.Friday and rushed to Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 3:51 a.m. Mischyshyn and Westmoreland County Coroner Stephen D.Yoney requested an autopsy which was performed yesterday in Allegheny County. The report indicated Hardy’s death was due to multiple blunt injuries to the head and chest. It was determined Mr.Hardy was struck by a motor vehicle which then failed to stop. He was born in Jacksonville;Fla.;on June 30;1921. He was a member of Mt.Calvary Baptist Church;Monessen. Surviving are one son;John Hardy Jr.of Monessen;two daughters;Joyce Blackley of Monessen and Viola Griffin of Baltimore;Md.;six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;Monessen;from 7 to 9 p.m.Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday. Mrs.Elizabeth Anna Hutchison of Fayette City R.D.1 died suddenly Saturday;Nov.26;1977 at 4 a.m. at her home. She was 65. Mrs.Hutchison was born Jan.19;1912 in Monessen;a daughter of the late Julius and Bertha Mayewski Gibaloski. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Fayette City;the Golden Age Club of Fayette City and the Monessen Senior Citizens. Her husband;Donald W.Hutchison Sr.;preceded her in death on Nov.15;1970. Survivors include a son;Donald William Hutchison Jr.of Fayette City R.D.1;two daughters;Bertha Ruth Savage of Levittown;Pa.;and Donna Lee Arden;a sister;Mrs.Minnie Sedlar of Monessen;and nine grandchildren.
