George Robert Kopko;20;of 1101 Leeds Ave.;Monessen;died Friday;April 2;1976;at 5:25 a.m. when struck by a truck along Route 857 two miles north of Fairchance. He was born Dec.13;1955;in North Charleroi;s son of George and Helen Bialon Kopko. He attended Monessen public schools;graduating from Monessen High School in 1973;and was employed by Weiss Meat Packing Co.;Inc.;of Rostraver Twp. He was also a member of St.Leonard’s Catholic Church;Monessen. He is survived by his parents;with whom he made his home;and his paternal grandparents;Mr.and Mrs.George Kopko Sr.of Monessen. She was born in Austria-Hungary and had lived in Monessen practically all her life until moving to Belle Vernon two years ago. Mrs.Kunka was a member of the First Christian Church of Monessen.
