as a staff writer for the Arizona Republic newspaper in Phoenix
and was a former employe of The Charleroi Mail and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. He was a veteran of World War II. Surviving him are his widow; Mrs. Vera Zollars Mahoney; one daughter;Karen; and one
son; Kurt;both of Phoenix;his mother; Mrs. Edith Mahoney of Pittsburgh; two sisters; Edna Mahoney of Pittsburgh and Mrs.
James (Marion) Lake of Canton; Ohio. Friends will be received at

A resident of Belle Vernon 52 years;Mr.Malaga was a member of St.John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian Orthodox Brotherhood of America;both of Monessen. He was a United Mine Worker;retiring 14 years ago. Mr.Malaga was born in Austria June 6;1889. His wife;Eva;died Nov.25;1963.
