Carl A.Pesi;85;of 204 Long Ave.;Belle Vernon;Washington Township;died Wednesday;April 4;2001;at his residence. Born Jan.8;1916;in Argentina;he was the son of the late Carlo and Assunta Mazzei Pesi. Mr.Pesi was a resident of Washington Township for the past 64 years and was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon. Mr.Pesi owned and operated Monessen Heating and Roofing for 25 years and was also employed at Beacon Supply Co.of Belle Vernon. He was a veteran of World War II;where he served in the U.S.Army and was a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 and the Washington Township Fire Department. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law;Carl L.and Rita Pesi of Washington Township and Thomas and Mary Pesi of Star Junction;two daughters and son-in-law;Joan DeAngelis of Vanderbilt and Patricia A.and John Morigi of Washington Township;a brother;Mario Pesi of Lynnwood;a sister;Yolanda Neil of Belle Vernon;15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
