A 25 year old Belle Vernon man was fatally injured Friday night;Oct.12;1956;when the car he was driving ran off the road;went over an embankment and smashed into a tree. Earl C.Richter of 1035 Broad Avenue;Belle Vernon;died of a broken neck about 8:15 p.m. Mr.Richter was employed as a caretaker at Belle Vernon Cemetery. Survivors are his wife;Sally Ann Lambert Richter;his parents;Mr.and Mrs.David Richter of Perryopolis R.D.;four brothers;William Taylor;Wilde and Carl at home;and Dave Jr.of Elizabeth R.D.;four sisters;Betty Muirhead and Violet Hoffman of Perryopolis R.D.;Audrey at home;and Mildred Anderson;also of Perryopolis;R.D.
