John Rygial;90;of 129 Marion Ave.;Belle Vernon (Fairhope) died Thursday;March 24;1977;at 8:40 p.m.in West Penn Hospital;Pittsburgh;as a result of burns suffered earlier on that day. Mr.Rygial was treated at Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital at 8:35 a.m.for first;second and third degree burns over 40 per cent of his body. Reportedly his clothing caught fire while he was attempting to light a stove at his home. He was transferred to West Penn Hospital in guarded condition and died there Thursday night. Mr. Rygial was born in Poland on Nov.25;1886. He was a retired coal miner. Surviving are his widow;Adela Rygial;three sons;Leopold Regal of Belle Vernon (Fairhope);Walter Regal of Fayette City R.D.1 (Gillespie) and Joseph Regal of Belle Vernon (Fairhope);one daughter;Mrs.Ann Antal of Lynnwood;six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Louis (Newton) Ross;formerly of Belle Vernon died Monday March 1;1977;at his residence in Washington;D.C. Mr.Ross was born Dec.16;1912 in Pricedale;a son of the late Robert and Derry Ross. He attended Belle Vernon schools and;after serving in the Army in World War II;he moved to Washington;D.C. He was employed at St.Elizabeth Hospital and later at Mann Potato Chip Co.from which he retired. Mr.Ross was preceded in death by his wife;Gladys Addison Ross;on July 19;1970. Mrs.Robinson was born March 4;1905 in Rockingham;N.C.;a daughter of the late Harry and Nora Hooper Covington. She had been a resident of the Monessen area for 50 years. Mrs.Robinson was a member of Mt.Calvary Baptist Church;Monessen;and the Senior Missionary Society. She also was a deaconist and president of the former Fellowship Choir. Her husband;George Robinson preceded her in death in July 1973. She was born Jan.5;1899;in McKeesport and was a methodist by faith. There are no known survivors.
