Vincenzo J. Winks Ambrose Jr.; 65; of Bluff Street; North Belle Vernon; died Wednesday; May 8; 2002; in his home. A son of the late Vincenzo J. and Angeline Vaccaro Ambrose; he was born Dec. 16; 1936; in Belle Vernon. He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; the Knights of Columbus Council 3026; a life member of the North Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department; and the Westmoreland County Firemen’s Association. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon; he retired in 1987 from the former Lee Norse Company in Charleroi. Survivors include his wife; Donna Rodgers Ambrose; with whom he would have celebrated 46 years of marriage on June 9; 2002; one daughter and son-in-law; Traci and Steve Pawlak; two sons and a daughter-in-law; Timothy J. Ambrose; and Craig V. and Pam Ambrose; all of Belle Vernon; one brother and sister-in-law; Charles Butch and Nancy Ambrose of Fayette City; one sister and brother-in-law; Michele Cookie and Charles Foster of Rochester; N.Y.; six grandchildren; Courtney; Jeff and Cody Ambrose; Jared; Chelsea and LeeAnn Pawlak; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by one son; Jeffrey Michael Ambrose; in 1974; and one sister; Teresa Ambrose; in 1973.
