He is survived by his wife;Angeline Strangis;three brothers;Patsy;Louis and Volante;all in Italy;a nephew;Frank Strangis;who was reared by his uncle;three sisters;Mary Nicolazzo;Pittsburgh;Isabella Carpilano;Toronto;Canada;Joan Cuda in Italy. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Requiem High Mass will be sung in St.Sebastian Church;Monday June 29;at 10 a.m.by Rev.Andrew King and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. past several months.
Born in Lithuania Nov. 22;
1883; he lived in Donora the past
six years; coming from Belle
Vernon. He retired as a coal
miner ten years ago. He was a
member of Holy Name of Mary
Roman Catholic Church; Donora.
Surviving are three daughters;
Mrs. Michael (Violet) Holodnik of Donora; Mrs Stanley ( Helen )
Gerwell of Charleroi and Mrs. AIden (Nelle) Hughes of Auburn;
Wash.; two sisters and one stepson in Europe; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the
Schwerha Funeral Home; Donora after 7 p.m.Thursday;May 21;1959. Funeral services will be held Saturday;May 23;1959;at 9 a.m.from the funeral home;followed by Requiem High Mass at 9:30 at Holy Name of Mary R.C.Church;Donora. The Rev.Joseph Forysiak will officiate.
