Mrs. Sarah W. Staff; aged 72
years; of Webster; died Friday;
March 9;1956; at 7:40 p. m.; in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Staff; who was born in
England; was the widow of the late
John Staff; who died in 1941; and
was a member of the Webster
Presbyterian Church. She had
lived in Webster for the past 45
years.
Surviving are two sons; Jack; of
Donora and Harry; of Webster;
five daughters; Mrs. David (Florence) Cox and Mrs. Charles
(Harriet) Couser; both of Webster;
Mrs. Raymond (Catherine) Byan;
of Fisher Heights; Mrs. William
(Jennie) Columbus; of New Castle
and Mrs. Robert (Bernice) Carlson of Donora;two sisters;Mrs.Elizabeth Hughes and Mrs.Robert Brown;both of Webster;14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs.Frances Snow;30;of 1068 Morgan Avenue;Monessen;died Sunday;February 5;1956;in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital at 1:35 p.m.;following a car accident on the Monessen-Webster Road;Route 906;late Saturday night. Mrs. Snow is survived by her husband;Thomas;two daughters;Helen Hayes and Aderienna Snow;and a sister;Mrs.Lucille Stewart.
