Mr.Sobek;who was born in Poland on Dec.20;1885;was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church of Fayette City and Polish National Alliance Lodge 976 of Arnold City. A retired employee of the Allenport plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co.;he is survived by his widow;Mary;four sons;Joseph and Ted of Fayette City;Lawrence and Carl of Belle Vernon;two daughters;Mrs.Anthony (Ann) Semancik of Fayette City and Mrs.Anthony (Stella) Errigo of Garfield;N.J.;two brothers Stanley of Grindstone and Joseph in Poland;three sisters in Poland and ten grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;where Prayer will take place on Monday;Sept.9;at 9:30 a.m.followed by Requiem High Mass in Holy Spirit R.C.Church;Fayette City;at 10 a.m. The Rev.Joseph Tamikowski;pastor;will officiate. 914 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon
died Wednesday;March 13;1968; at 9:30 p.m. in
Charleroi – Monessen Hospital.
Mr. Stringhill; who was born
in Italy in 1875; retired in 1946
from the Allenport plant of
Pittsburgh Steel Co.
He was a member of St. Sebastian
Roman Catholic
Church and was a life member
of Loyal Order of Moose; both
of Belle Vernon.
Surviving are three daughters;
Mrs. Lena Mazzei; Mrs.
Janie Mitchell and Innis Stringhill;
all at home; seven sons;
Tony; James; Frank; Freddy;
Rudolph; Samuel and Louis;
all of Belle Vernon; eleven
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at
the Harold R. Toner Funeral
Home; Belle Vernon; from 2 to
5 and 7 to 10 p.m. beginning
