She was a member of Marion Presbyterian Church at Fairhope and the Washington Twp.Fire Dept.Ladies Auxiliary. She was born in England on April 12;1890. Surviving are one son;John W.of Monessen;three daughters;Mrs.George (Mary) Rousseau of Okmulgee;Okla.;Mrs.Raymond (Jean) Budd of Belle Vernon (Sweeney Plan);and Mrs.Garrel (Edna) Pyles of Huntingdon;W.Va.;twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the Joseph H.Ford Post 691;American Legion;Monessen. He was also a member of the Mt.Calvary Baptist Church of Monessen and the F.and A.M.Lodge 79;Monessen. Surviving are his widow;Ardale Williams;two daughters;Mrs.Dorothy Williams of Clairton;a step-daughter;Mary Smith of Butler;his step-mother;Mrs.Robert Gray of Lorain;Ohio;two brothers;Felton;Detroit;Mich.;Hudson of Way Cross;Ga.;10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Mark Roy Whitelaw;60;a member of the North Belle Vernon Council for 12 years;died suddenly at his late home Friday;Aug.2;1963;at 8 a.m. He lived at 387 Jones St. in Belle Vernon. Mr.Whitelaw was a member and past president of the North Belle Vernon Fire Dept.and a member of the Christian Church of Belle Vernon. He was employed as a driver for the National Biscuit Co.for 42 years;retiring from this job last year. Born in Banning;Nov.13;1902;he had spent most of his life in Belle Vernon. Surviving are his widow;Ethel Snyder Whitelaw;two sons;Charles Robert of Belle Vernon R.D.and Roy L.of Belle Vernon;two daughters;Mrs.James (Phyllis) Dague of Bentleyville;and Mrs.Matthew (Lois) Lococo of Leonardtown;Md.;six grandchildren;two brothers;John of Belle Vernon R.D.;and Robert of Belle Vernon;one sister;Mrs.Leroy (LuLu) Jones of Belle Vernon.
