Margaret Armour;aged 2 1/2 years;daughter of Mr.and Mrs.J. Armour of Homestead;died Thursday afternoon;April 4;1929;at the family home. The little girl is survived by her parents;a brother;Floyd and a sister;Betty. Mrs.Margaret Wheatley Ashton;wife of Palmer Ashton;died Monday night;January 14;1929;at 6:15 o’clock in the McKeesport hospital;where she had been confined for several weeks. The young woman has been ailing for several years and while she was given every attention;her system failed to respond to treatment and she steadily grew worse. She was a daughter of the late John Wheatley;who for a number of years was chief of police in this city. She attended the Monessen public schools;and has a host of friends throughout the city. Surviving are her husband;two daughters;Betty Deane;aged 7 and Norma Jean;aged 2;and her mother;Mrs.Agnes Wheatley. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Christian Church;on Sixth street;in charge of Rev.M.M.Houser;pastor of the United Brethren Church. Interment will be made in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
