Thomas Bates of 255 Sixth street;died Sunday morning;Nov.3;1918;of a complication of heart trouble;influenza and pneumonia;aged 26 years. Deceased had been a sufferer from heart affection for a long time and was confined to his home the greater part of last summer. During the fall he became able to work when overtaken by a heavy cold which terminated fatality. He is survived by a wife and three children;Miller;Alberta and Zoye;also his mother;Mrs.Elizabeth Bates;two brothers;Albert and William;and one sister;Harriet. Funeral Wednesday;Nov.6;1918;at 2 p.m. Interment at Belle Vernon Cemetery.
