Word was received here of the death Friday night;November 16;1928;in the Presbyterian hospital;Pittsburgh of Mrs.John Cooper;aged 28;of Gibsonton. The deceased had been ill for some time and was removed to the hospital on Thursday with little hopes of her recovery. Besides her husband;three children;Jack;Rose and Catherine;survive;also her parents;Mr.and Mrs.Amos Boyer of Monessen and three brothers;Eugene;Amos;Jr.and Thomas. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning;November 20;1928;at 9 o’clock in the Belle Vernon Catholic Church with interment in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Mrs.Nunzio Colecchi;aged 23 years;died Monday night;Oct.24;1927;at 6:45 at her home;118 Donner. Death was sudden and unexpected and came as a great shock to family and friends. She leaves an infant child two days old. Mrs.Colecchi before her marriage was Miss Bertha Soupley;daughter of Mrs.Maria Soupley of 719 Sixth street. The family have been residents of this city for many years. Besides the mother and infant child;two sons;Robert;aged three years and Walter;aged 18 months;survive. Also three sisters;Mrs.Dan Rogers;Alice and Marie and Lewis Soupley at home. Much sympathy is expressed for the family on account of the sad conditions surrounding the home. The funeral cortege will leave the home Thursday afternoon Oct.27;1927 at 2 o’clock for Charleroi;where services will be held in the Italian Catholic Church on Fallowfield avenue. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Leon Colas;aged 67 years;died Monday night;Oct.10;1927;at his home;549 Summitt avenue;following a stroke sustained several days ago. He had been ailing for several years. Mr.Colas was born in France;coming to this country 40 years ago and for the past 26 years has been a resident of this city. He was employed as a carpenter. His wife;Anna; and five sons survive;Marcel;of the state of Missouri;Mark;of Monessen;Harry of Townhill;Pa.;Charles; of Kansas and Ray;at home. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon; Oct.13;1927; at 2:30 from the home;in charge of Rev.J.R.MacFarland;pastor of the Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
