to the Methodist Church; Friday

lie in state until 2 p. m.; when
funeral services will be held in
charge of Rev. Ted V. Voorhees;

Rev. E. L. Boetticher; of New
Kensington; a former pastor. Interment;

Mrs.Caroline Calvelli;age 92 years;of 1117 McKean avenue;Charleroi;died at the home of her daughter at that address;Friday;June 22;1945;at 7:30 p.m.;after an illness of several years. She was born in Italy;April 24;1853;and came to Charleroi from Belle Vernon in 1922. She was a member of the Mother of Sorrows Church of Charleroi. She is survived by two daughters;Mrs.Louise Mastronicola of Charleroi and Mrs.Veto Capparoni of Philadelphia;fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the home of her daughter;Mrs.Louise Mastrinocola;1117 McKean avenue. Requiem High Mass will be held at the Mother of Sorrows Church Monday;June 25;1945;at 10 a.m.in charge of Rev.N.A.Biondi. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. He is survived by his wife;Mrs.Grace M.Collins;three children;Connie;Jack and Don;his parents;Mr.and Mrs.James W.Collins of Speers;two brothers;Trace of Speers and Fred of Charleroi;two sisters;Mrs.R.A.Ryan of Charleroi and Mrs.S.V.Hughes of Twilight Borough.

Wednesday; May 30; 1945 at the
Beaver Valley General hospital;New Brighton. Surviving are three sons; Clarence; of Monessen;Sgt. Emmett; of California; Earl; of New Brighton; three daughters;.Mrs. Lloyd Morrison; of Salem;
Ohio; Mrs. Victor Scheeler and Mrs. Norman Glabb; of Beaver Falls. One brother; Azel Campbell; of Fairchance; and one sister; Mrs. Newton Lilley; of Merrillstown; also survive; along with 17 grandchildren. The body will be brought to Belle Vernon for interment Friday; June 1; services to be held at the
cemetery at approximately 4:30 p.m.

Mrs.Elizabeth Carrier;age 54 years;of 118 State street;Belle Vernon;died at her home;Sunday;April 29;1945;at 8 p.m. following an illness of only one day’s duration. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon. Surviving are her husband;William Carrier;a daughter;Mrs.Albert Yoder of West Newton;two sisters;Mrs.Frank Pentz;of Norfolk;Va.;and Mrs.George Edwards;of California;Pa.;six brothers;James Humes of Castle Shannon;Thomas and Robert of Finleyville;John of New Kensington;George of Warren;Ohio and Charles of Baltimore;Md. She had been a resident of Monessen for 46 years. Surviving are her husband;Mark Colas;a daughter;Mrs.Melvin Greenwood;of Monessen;two sons;Arthur;with the Armed Forces in Germany;and Paul;at home. Two sisters;Mrs.Mary Leclereq;of Burbank;California;and Mrs.Christina Moussioux;of Diamond;Ohio;also survives;along with two grandchildren. the St. Sebastian Church of Belle
Vernon.
Surviving are his wife; Mrs.
Louise C. Cardinale; and a daughter; Mrs. Rose Todaro; both in
Italy. A son; Dominick C.; of
Belle Vernon; ten grandchildren
and one great-grandchild; also survive.
