Miss Dorothy Davenport;aged 30 years;daughter of Mrs.Eleanor Davenport;of Main street;Belle Vernon;died yesterday morning;September 18th;at 3 o’clock;at her home after a long illness. She is survived by her mother;three sisters;Esther;at home;and Mrs.Joe Gibson and Mrs.Carl Gibson;of Mills Run;Pa.;two brothers;Elmer;of Charleroi;and Danny;of Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held from her late home;tomorrow;Friday afternoon Septermber 20;1929;at 2 o’clock;with interment in the Belle Vernon cemetery.

Funeral services were held Monday
afternoon from the late home on
Bluff street for Elmer Dillon; aged
62; pioneer resident of Belle
Vernon; who succumbed last Friday
in his home following a long illness.
Interment in the Belle Veron cemetery followed the services.
Included among the survivors are
one daughter; Mrs. Mary Johnson of
Cleveland; Ohio; two brothers; four
granddaughters and a host of other
relatives living in the valley. Mr. Dillon had operated a barber shop on Broad avenue for many years. He was the owner of the first barber shop constructed in Charleroi on the site where the First National bank now stands.
