She had been a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon. She is survived by four nieces;Mrs.James McKenna of Belle Vernon;R.D.;Mrs.Theresa Gilmore;Belle Vernon;Mrs.Frank Carper of West Newton;and Mrs.Allen Raer of Brownsville;and three nephews;D.W.Moran;John Moran;both of Belle Vernon;and Thomas Minor of Brownsville. Services will be held in St.Sebastian Church;Wednesday;October 25;1944;at 9 a.m. Father Eugene Harkins will have charge of services and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George Dudgeon; aged 67 years;who resided at 509 Short street;
Belle Vernon; died Saturday; September
23;1944 at 7:30 a.m. at his
home; following an illness of two
years duration.
Surviving are his wife; Mrs. Sally

and Mrs. Arthur Aspy of Clarksburg;
W. Va.; three sons; James of
New Kensington; Robert of Belle
Vernon and Alex; at home; two brothers;

Ind.; two sisters; Mrs. Jessie
Pringle of Mt. Vernon; 0hio; and Mrs.
Margaret Harkless of Detroit. Six
grandchildren also survive.

Miss Mary Defazio;aged 26 years;daughter of Mr.and Mrs.Thomas Defazio;of Belle Vernon;died at the family home in Green street at 5:45 Saturday morning;Feb.4;1939. She had been ill for the past eight months. The survivors are her parents;Mr.and Mrs.Thomas Defazio;three brothers;Anthony of Monongahela;Samuel of Charleroi and James at home;also four sisters;Mrs.Peter Canitisan;Wilkes Barre;Mrs.Joseph Roberts;Jeannette;Jennie and Irene;at home. Funeral arrangemets are being made for Tuesday morning;February 7;1939;at 10 oc’clock from the St.Sebastian Church in Belle Vernon. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Antonio Desimone;aged 55 years;died at his home;Main street;Belle Vernon;Monday;October 24th;1938;after a lingering illness.  He is survived by three daughters;Connie;Theresa;and Angelina;at home;at brother;Joseph of Belle Vernon;and a sister;Mrs.Barbara Caputo;also of Belle Vernon.  Funeral services will be at the St.Sebastian Church on Thursday morning at 9:30 o’clock with Rev.James J.O’Connell officiating.  Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. 

Mildred Vosvick Alonzo; 87; of Charleroi; died Saturday; May 18; 2002; in Jefferson Hills Manor. She was born Feb. 22; 1915; in Weirton; W.Va.; a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Sudor Vosvick. Mrs. Alonzo was a resident of Charleroi since 1980; having previously lived in Detroit; Mich. She was a member of Mary; Mother of the Church Charleroi. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law; Louis and Maureen Artalona of Tampa; Fla.; one daughter and son-in-law; Jeanne and Philip Zilka of Monessen; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Jesse Alonzo; three brothers; and two sisters. Friends will be received in the DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC.; 441 Reed Ave.; Monessen; on Monday; from 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Mary; Mother of the Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Frank Dugan Jr;aged three years;son of Pvt.and Mrs.Frank Dugan Sr.;of 205 Third Street;Belle Vernon;died at his home Wednesday;July 19;1944;at 5:15 a.m. of scarlet fever;after an illness of three weeks. He is survived by his parents and two sisters;Lauretta and (Loren?);at home and grandparents;Mr.and Mrs.Charles Moore of Belle Vernon. Private services and interment from the home will take place Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock with Rev. H.G.Mountan officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon cemetery. Private rites are necessary due to the nature of the illness. Chas.L.and Edwin Melenyzer are the funeral directors in charge.
