Mrs.Evans leaves her husband;Joseph Evans;six sons;Joseph;Jr.;of Charleroi;Nathan of North Charleroi;Russell and George of Pricedale;Alden of Donora and Robert of Monessen;two daughters;Mrs.Olive Payton of Cresent Heights and Mrs.Hazel Jenkins of Daisytown;two sisters;Mrs.Elsie Martin of Monessen and Mrs.Fannie Burler of Fairhope;two brothers;Oliver Brown of North Charleroi and Grant Brown of Brownsville;twenty-three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The remains are at the home of a daughter;Mrs.Olive Payton;House 243;Cresent Heights;where funeral services will be held Friday afternoon January 26;1940;at 2 o’clock. George Elmer; of Masontown; died Monday; June 7; 1937 in the Uniontown General hospital.
He was an uncle of Mrs. George T. Ethridge; of Belle Vernon; at whose home funeral services will be held tomorrow; Thursday afternoon; June 10; at 2 o’clock. The Rev. Edwin G. Sloan; pastor of the Presbyterian church will be in charge. Interment will be in Belle Vernon cemetery. Among relatives surviving is one sister; Mrs. Emma Carothers; of Belle Vernon.
