Mrs.Margaret Gottke;75;died at her home in Allenport at 5 o’clock Sunday morning;October 1;1939. Death came after a brief illness. Mrs.Gottke is survived by daughters;Mrs.William Summers;Gore;Ohio;Mrs.Porter Nixon;Wanchese;North Carolina;Mrs.Elizabeth Baxter;Roscoe;Mrs.Flossie Taylor;of Nelsonville;Ohio;sons;Lewis Gottke at home;and Selby Gottke of Allenport;also survive. Friends will be received at the late home in Allenport until 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon when services will be held;the Reverand Zaldivar officiating. One of the district’s oldest residents;Biaso A.Giordanelli;aged 96 years;died at his home in 114 Vine street;Belle Vernon;Wednesday;August 16;1939;at 10:45 p.m.following an illness of one week. He leaves two daughters;Mrs.Mary Costello of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Katherine Trunzo of New Eagle;one son;Frank Giordanelli of Colorado;twenty-four grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the late home until 2:30 the afternoon of Friday;August 18;when services will be held;the Rev.G.Meade Daugherty officiating.
