Issac Richard Hardy;69;retired;of 610 Blind Lane;Belle Vernon;died suddenly Thursday morning;March 9;1944;at 10:30 o’clock;as the aged man waited for a street car in Speers. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Surviving are his wife;Rebecca Jane Hardy;three daughters;Mrs.William Green of 328 Cleveland St.;Youngstown;Ohio;Mrs.James Truman of Pittsburgh and Mrs.Stanley Harper of Seymour;Ind.;and one son;Howard Hardy;of 330 West Earle St.;Youngstown;Ohio. Three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home in Belle Vernon until 3 p.m.Sunday afternoon when funeral services will be held. Mrs.Julia Ann Hogg;nee Robinson;of 543 Broad avenue;Belle Vernon;died Friday;December 31;1943;at 12:30 a.m.in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital;after an extended illness. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband;Taylor Hogg;a sister;Mrs.John Kimball;and a brother;Harry S.Robinson;both of Belle Vernon. Friends are being received at the Kimball home. The body will be removed to the Melenyzer Funeral home Monday morning;where services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Mrs.Mary Hegedus;age 60 years;died at her home in Fairhope;Friday;November 12;1943;at 5:20 p.m.after a lingering illness. She was a member of the St.Sebastian Church of Belle Vernon and is survived by four daughters;Mrs.James Eland of Daisytown;Mrs.Herbert Astle of Smithdale;Mrs.Steve Pokol of Fayette city and Mrs.George Dohansh of Arnold City;two sons;Paul of Fayette City;R.D.;and Louis of Bentleyville;and thirteen grandchildren. Friends will be received at the late home and services will be held at the St.Sebastian Church in Belle Vernon on Tuesday;November 16;1943;at 10 a.m. Father Dennis Boyle will be in charge of services.
