Joseph Kachala;Sr.;aged 66 years;a resident of Charleroi for the past thirty-seven years;died at his home yesterday afternoon;Thursday;November 22;1934;at 12:30 o’clock. The deceased;well known in this district;was born in Czechoslovakia in 1868. He settled in Charleroi in 1897. Surviving are his wife;Julia Kachala;two sons;Joseph Jr.;and William Kachala at home;one daughter;Mrs.August Petrak;Charleroi;three grandchildren and two sisters;Mrs.Jessie Regula;Monessen and Mrs.Julia Renko;of Dunlevy. Brief services at the home on Monday morning November 26;1934;will be followed by Mass at 9 o’clock in St.Cyril and Methodious R.C.Church.

Mrs.Mary Koschalk;aged 65;died Sunday;April 1;1934;at 8 p.m.;in the Greensburg hospital after a lingering illness. She is survived by her husband;Wasil Koschalk and nine children;Mrs.Alec Felak;and Mrs.Fred Koszak;of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Andrew Elekonich;Mrs.George Elekonich and Mrs.Thomas Degnan;of Toledo;Ohio;Joe;in Toledo;and Mike;Andrew and Steve at home. Funeral services will be held from her home;625 Graham avenue;Thursday;April 5;1934;at 2 p.m.;with interment in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
