A sad as well as mysterious death occurred Friday afternoon;Septemer 6;1929;when Dora;the 8 month old child of Mr.and Mrs.Alfred Michelitti died suddenly.  The family resides at 330 Donner avenue;and the child in the presence of her mother was playing with toys in a rocking chair.  Mrs.Michelitti had barely turned her head from the little one when she looked around and saw the limp form of the child reclining in the chair.  She gave the alarm and a physician was called and the child was pronounced dead.  So mysterious are the circumstances that it has been deemed advisable to hold an inquest to determine the cause of death.  The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock;from the home of Mr.Mitcheletti’s mother on Third street.  Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.

John H.Martin;a well known resident of the valley;died at his home in Belle Vernon Sunday night;July 21;1929;at 8:45 p.m.after a short illness. Mr.Martin was born August 6;1872;and had been a resident of this section all his life. He was married to Miss Katie Worrell on November 29;1892;and to this union was born three sons and a daughter;Vance;Mck.;Harry H.;Edmund K.and Hester K.Martin;all of Belle Vernon. Mr.Martin leaves besides his widow and children to mourn his loss;two grandchildren and two sisters and a brother. He was a member of the borough council;Improved Order of Redmen;and Degree of Pocohontas. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon;July 24;1929;at 2 o’clock;conucted by Rev.S.M.Spear;pastor of the First Christian Church;of which he was a member.

William Andrews Mollard was born 13 Sept 1867 in Burt; England; son of David and Elizabeth Andrews Mollard. His first wife; Ethel May Baker; bore him three children; two of whom died in infancy. The surviving child was Gladys May Mollard Grazzini Pascoe. Billy remarried after Ethel’s death in 1911; to Laura (Unknown). He died 12 Feb; 1929 in Washington Twp.
