He is survived by his mother;Mrs.Josephine Marasco;one brother;Angelo;at home;and one sister;Mrs.Thomas Barger of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home. Requiem mass will be held Tuesday;December 14;1948;at 10 a.m.;in St.Sebastian Church;in charge of Rev.Eugene Herkins. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.

Philip Marasco;aged 56 years;of 615 Hill St.;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;Sept.12;1948 at 7 a.m. of a heart attack. He was an employee of the Pittsburgh Steel plant at Allenport. Surviving are his wife;Mrs. Josephine Marasco;two sons;Basil and Angelo;at home;and one daughter;Mrs.Mary Louise Narger;of Belle Vernon;two brothers;Felix;of McKeesport;and Joseph in Italy;and one sister in Italy;also his parents;Mr.and Mrs.Basil Marasco in Italy. Friends will be received at his late residence until Wednesday;Sept.12;at 11 a.m. when funeral services will be held in charge of Father Eugene Harman;pastor of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church.Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
