Eleven grandchildren;twenty-four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson;also survive. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home. Philip S.Meli;proprietor of the Meli Electric Co.;318 Fallowfield avenue died at his home on Main Street;Allenport;Sunday morning;August 31;1952 at 9 a.m.of a heart attack. He was born in Charleroi June 6;1906;the son of Mr.and Mrs. Salvatore Meli. He received his education in Charleroi schools;and was a graduate of Charleroi High and Waynesburg College. He was a member of Mother of Sorrows Church;the Italica Unita club and Phi Lamibda Theta fraternity. Survivors include his father;his wife;Mrs.Blanche Balmer Meli;three sons;Thomas of Charleroi;Philip B. and Larry B.Meli;one daughter;Audrey at home;one sister;Mrs.Adeline Vezzani;of Charleroi. Friends will be received at his late home. Services will be held there Wednesday;September 3;1952;at 9:30 a.m.;followed by additional services at the Mother of Sorrows Church at 10 a.m. in charge of Rev.John J.Thomas.
