Mrs.Miranda Reeves;aged 68 years;died at 4:30 this morning;Thursday;Feb.8;1923;at the home of her daughter;Mrs.Frank Ferren of Allenport following a short illness. The deceased had been called to the Ferren home on account of illness and was stricken with heart trouble which resulted in her death. She was a life long resident of Belle Vernon and the news of her death was a distinct shock to the community;where she was well known and loved by all. The deceased is survived by the following children;Thurman Reeves;Mrs.Arthur Spahr and Fell Reeves of Belle Vernon;Ross Reeves;superintendent of the Allenport plant of the Pittsburgh Steel Products Co.;Roy Reeves of California;Mrs.Martin Crawford and Mrs.Ira Frye;of Monessen;Mrs.Frank Ferren of Allenport. Funeral services will be held from the Methodist Church;Belle Vernon;at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon;Feb.10;1923. The services will be in charge of Rev.Headlee of that church and Rev.Baker of the Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Belle Vernon cemetery. Mrs.Reeves was a member of the Women’s Benefit Association and the W.C.T.U.of Belle Vernon;and of the Dames of Malta;of Charleroi.Theses organizations will hold services this evening;Friday;Feb.9;1923.

No details were given;except;the information that the body will be brought to Belle Vernon and taken to the home of a cousin;Mrs. Amanda Reppert;from where the funeral will take place on Saturday;with interment in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
