Alfred T.Russell;age 65;died Thursday night;May 12;1932;at 7:40 p.m.at his home;1112 McMahon avenue following a lingering illness. Born in England in 1867;he first settled in Pittsburgh and came to Monessen in 1900. He was employed at the Pittsburgh Steel company plant here until his illness about a year ago. Surviving are his wife;Laura Russell;one son;Sam and four grandchildren. He was a member of the Masons;Eagles;Sons of St.George and Maccabees. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Sunday afternoon at the United Brethren Church with interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Ernest Reese;age 13;son of Mr.and Mrs.Ernest Reese of Main street;Belle Vernon;died yesterday morning;March 24;1931;from spinal meningitis. The youth;a student in the seventh grade of the Belle Vernon public schools;took ill Friday. In addition to the parents;one sister survives. Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon with interment in the Belle Vernon cemetery.
