Mrs.Stella Rossi of 289 Grandview Way;Maple View;died suddenly of a heart attack at her home;Wednesday;February 20;1952;at 4:30 a.m. She was born in Venetia;Pa.;October 11;1897;and had spent almost her entire life in Charleroi. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Charleroi. She is survived by her husband;Albert Rossi;one daughter;Mrs.William E.(Laura) Mullan;Carmichaels;two brothers;Guy and Charles Giamati of Akron;Ohio;one sister;Mrs.William (Mary) Shippee of Akron;and one granddaughter. Friends will be received at the Schrock Funeral Home. Services will be held there Friday;February 22;1952;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.Robert Laing. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Roy Reeves;72;formerly of Belle Vernon;died at 9:30 a.m.on Saturday;June 2;1951;at 9:30 a.m. in the Greensburg Hospital. Mr.Reeves;a well-known figure in and around Belle Vernon;was at one time associated with the Belle Vernon Construction Co. Surviving are one son Leroy;of Ohio;two brothers;Ross;of Aliquippa;and Fell;of Belle Vernon and three sisters;Mrs.Hazel Sphar;of Upper Middleton;Mrs.Charlotte Ferron;of Allenport amd Mrs.Elizabeth Crawford;of Monessen. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home;700 Broad avenue;Belle Vernon;where funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. with the Rev.Allan J.Howes;pastor of the Monessen Methodist Church;officiating. Jesse M.Rowe;66;of 121 Water St.;Belle Vernon;died in Greene County of a heart attack;Wednesday;November 1;1950. He died while rabbit hunting at Metal Hill;near Rogersville;with three Belle Vernon friends. Mr.Rowe’s body was found by companions who became worried when he failed to return to a lodge at the end of the day. Accompanying Mr.Rowe on the day afield were Kenneth Beazell and son Charles Beazell and John Fazio. He is survived by his wife;Della;a son Robert W.Rowe;Brownsville;two brothers;Carl of Bobtown and Guy of Scott’s Run;W.Va.;one sister Mrs.Allen Brady;Frankfort;Ky.;and one grandchild. Time of death was placed at 4:30 p.m.Wednesday;Nov.1;1950. Friends will be received at the late home. Services will be held there Saturday;November 4;1950;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.C.W.Campbell and Rev.Frank T.James. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
