Rostraver Township; died suddenly Saturday morning;April 16;1949;at 6:15 at her home in Pricedale. She was born in
Rostraver Township March 25;
1864. She was the widow of John
W. Turner.
A daughter;Grace Turner; who
died Wednesday; was buried Friday afternoon;April 15;1949. Mrs.Turner is survived by four sons;Rev. John E. Turner of Pricedale;Michael Turner of Robbins
Station; J. Calvin Turner; of Rostraver Township; a Westmoreland
County Commissioner;and Arthur
B. Turner of Pricedale; Chief Westmoreland County detective; three daughters; Mrs. Eva Spangler of Jeannette; Mrs J. R. Frost; of Belle
Vernon; Mrs. George Gillingham of Webster; 24 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home in Belle Vernon and services will be held Tuesday;April 19;1949;at 2 p.m.in charge of Rev. F. C. Burchell of the Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Grace Turner;aged 51 years;of Pricedale;died Tuesday morning;April 12;1949;at 1 a.m.at the Mercy hospital in Pittsburgh. She is survived by her mother;Mrs.Annie B.Turner of Pricedale;a son;John of Penn Station;and a daughter;Mrs.James V. of Monessen;and the following brothers and sisters;Rev.John E.Turner of Pricedale;Michael of Robbins Station;J.Calvin Turner of Rostraver Township;Arthur R. of Pricedale;Mrs.Eva Spangler of Jeannette;Mrs.J.R.Frost of Belle Vernon;and Mrs.George Gillingham of Webster. Three grandchildren also survive. Joseph Trozzo of 520 Isabelle avenue;North Charleroi;died at his home;Saturday;April 2;1949;at 8:30 p.m. He was born in Italy;March 25;1893;and was a member of the Mother of Sorrows church of Charleroi;the Italian Beneficial Society of Belle Vernon;the Sons of Italy;Christopher Columbus Lodge 663 of Belle Vernon;and the American Legion Post 22 of Charleroi. He was a World War one veteran. He is survived by his wife;Mrs.Amy Trozzo;one son;Anthony J.Trozzo at home;two daughters;Verna at home;and Mrs.Norman Miklos of Charleroi;six brothers;John;Samuel;Ernest;Albert and George of Belle Vernon;Frank of Charleroi;one sister;Mrs.Louis Muntz of Monongahela R.D.and one grandchild. Friends will be received at the late home. Requiem mass will be held in the Mother of Sorrows Church;Tuesday;April 5;1949;at 10 a.m.;in charge of Rev.J.J.Thomas. Mrs.Mathilda Tredici;aged 82 years;well known resident of Belle Vernon for 36 years;died at the home of her only daughter;Mrs.Mary Vanucci;524 Blind Lane;Belle Vernon;Monday morning January 10;1938;at 12:30 o’clock. She had been ill for three weeks. Mrs.Tredici leaves four grandchildren besides her daughter. She was one of the community’s oldest and best known residents. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon;January 12;1938 with interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
