Mrs.Lillian McClain Wallace of Speers street;died on Friday;December 23;1921;very suddenly. She was a daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Joseph McClain. Funeral services were held in the Baptist Church; of which she was an active member;on Sunday afternoon;December 25;1921;with interment in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. She is survived by her husband;four children;her parents;three sisters;and one brother.

Robert Shrum Whitelaw;aged 47;died at his home on Speer Street;on Monday morning;February 23;1920. He was born on September 8;1872. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon;February 26;1920;in the First Christian Church of which he has long been so active and an honored member. Rev.J.E.Gordon;of Homestead;officiated. He was assisted by Revs.J.B.Taylor and Henry Madtes. The auditorium was well filled with a large circle of friends and relatives of the deceased. Mr.Whitelaw was a member of the Knights Templar Commandery of Pittsburgh;McKeesport Chapter 282 R.A.M.and the local Lodge F&AM No.643. The latter attended the services at the Church in a body and at the grave rendered the impressive ritual of the order for the Burial of the Dead. The deceased is survived by his wife;Mrs.Margaret Hough Whitelaw;and five children;Mrs.Conway Hogg;Lulu;Roy;John and Robert;all of the city. Also by five sisters;Mrs.Mary Howell;Mrs.Jemima Ruth;Mrs.Helen Elder;Mrs.Christina Hough and Mrs.Elizabeth Miller;none of whom are residents here. Interment was made in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
