died Friday; November 19;1943; at
10:40 a. m; in the Charleroi-Monessen
hospital. Death was due to
burns sustained on November first
in her home when her clothing
caught fire.
Besides the parents; three sisters
survive: Joyce Anne; Barbara
Elaine and Gladys Loraine.
Friends are being received at
the home. Funeral services will be held Sunday;November 21;1943;at 2 o’clock at the Pentecostal Mission;in charge of Rev.Shevel. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery. Dave H.Woodward;funeral director in charge.

John C.Wilson;Jr.;age 57 years;died at the home of his sister;Mrs.Kathryn Lang;Second street; Fayette City;Monday;August 30;1943;at 5:15 p.m. He was born in Lonaconing;Maryland;April 26;1885;and was a member of the Fayette City Presbyterian Church. He had been an employee of the Macbeth-Evans Division of the Corning Glass Works for the past several years;and was quite well known in Charleroi. He is survived by two brothers;James and Albert of Fayette City;and two sisters;Mrs.Lang and Mrs.John Hawker;also of Fayette City. Friends will be received at the Lang home until time for services;Thursday;September 2;1943; at 2:30 p.m. Rev.David Molyneaux will have charge of services and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Geo. M. McCrory and Son are the funeral directors.

Thomas R.White;age 83 years;died at the home of his daughter;Mrs.Frank Smith;126 Shady avenue;North Belle Vernon;Friday;July 9;1943 at 1:50 p.m. He is survived by one son;George White of Belle Vernon;and five daughters;Mrs.Jacob Steinmiller;Mrs.Alexander Braddock;Mrs.Frank Smith and Mrs.Lyle Sinsley all of Belle Vernon;and Mrs.Edward Rex of Fayette City;two sisters;Mrs.David Mason;Vestaburg;and Mrs.Dean Hilty of Belle Vernon. Nineteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren also survive. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home until time for services Monday;July 12;1943 at 2 p.m. Rev.O.E.Altic and Rev.John Andree will have charge of services and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Mrs.Agnes Deane Wheatley;aged 69 years;died Tuesday evening;February 9;1943;at 10:30 p.m.at the home of Mr.and Mrs.Mansell Wolfe;516 Second street;following a lingering illness. She was the widow of the late John C.Wheatley;former chief of police of Monessen. Surviving are two granddaughters;Miss Betty Deane and Miss Norma Jean Ashton of Elizabeth. Friends will be received at the Woodward Home for Funerals until Friday afternoon at 3 o’clock;when services will be conducted in charge of Rev.C.G.White.
