Mrs.Sarah White;75 years old;died suddenly Sunday morning;February 21;1937;at 1:30 at her home in Pricedale. Mrs.White had been ailing for some years past;but her death was quite unexpected;having been in fair health lately. The deceased was born in England in 1862;and came to America forty-four years ago. She is survived by her husband;Thomas White;one son;George White;of Belle Vernon;and five daughters;Mrs.Jacob Steinmiller;Belle Vernon;Mrs.Edith Braddock;Pricedale;Mrs.Frank Smith;Pricedale;Mrs.Alice Rex;Fayette City;and Mrs.Lyle Sinsley of Frederick;Md.;nineteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from her home Wednesday;Feb.24;at 3 p.m.and will be conducted by the pastor of the Pricedale Union Church;Rev.Harold Dunn;assisted by Rev.Walter McCulloch;pastor of the Baptist Church of Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

James D.Ward;aged 28 years;died Saturday;October 31;1936;at 7 p.m.;at his home at 965 Donner avenue. He had been employed by the Pittsburgh Steel company. Surviving are his wife;Margaret;his father;Joseph Ward;of Belle Vernon;a brother;Thomas Ward of Belle Vernon and two sisters;Mrs.Nellie Barton and Miss Kathryn Ward;both of Chicago. The remains may be viewed at the Toner funeral home on Broad avenue;Belle Vernon until Tuesday morning when funeral services will be held at 9 o’clock from the St.Sebastian Church. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetey.
