Steve Misher Jr.;73;of Fairhope;died at his home Friday;June 22;2001. He was born Oct.14;1927;in Fairhope;where he was a lifelong resident;and the son of the late Steve and Katherine Kowasic Misher. He was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church of Fayette City. He retired form Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel;Allenport plant;in 1983 after 39 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II;having served in the U.S.Navy;a member of the Brightwell-Daugherty Post 484;American Legion;Fayette City;a life member of the Fairhope Rod & Gun Club;Naomi Athletic Club and Belle Vernon Moose. His favorite past time was fishing at Lake Erie. He is survived by his wife of 48 years;Iona Dorcon Misher;a son;Stephen Misher;two daughters;Teresa Downer and husband Harry;Mary (Margie) Yonash and husbant Robert;all of Fairhope;an uncle George Misher of Rices Landing;and many nieces and nephews. He ws born Sept.3;1963;in North Charleroi;a son of the late Raymond E.Shetterly Jr.and Gayle E. Isaho Shetterly;who survives. In addition to his mother;he is also survived by his wife;Leisa Smith Shetterly;brothers;Raymond Shetterly and Shawn Shetterly; sisters Dawn Wolford and Michele Shetterly;

Rinaldo (Reno) Sichi;90;formerly of North Belle Vernon;died Saturday;June 16;2001;at the home of his daughter in Commerce;Ga. A son of the late Adamo and Angelina Ceccarelli Sichi;he was born Jan.13;1911;in Italy. He was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon;the Charleroi Eagles and a life member of the North Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department. Mt.Sichi had lived most of his adult life in Belle Vernon prior to moving to Georgia in 1995. He retired in 1976 after 20 years with the North Belle Vernon Street Department. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law;Janet and William Mullen of Commerce;Ga.;a son and daughter-in-law;Carl and Joanne Sichi of Mebane;N.C.;seven grandchildren;and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Clara Ursits Sichi in 1990;and three brothers;Orlando in 1968;Edward in 1981;and Armand (Mundo) in 1998. He retired from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel;where he worked for 43 years. Survivors include his wife of 60 years;Nellie Bakaitis Halgas;two brothers and sisters-in-law;Joseph and Dorothy Halgas of Arnold City;and Rudy and Virginia Halgas of Belle Vernon;and one sister and brother-in-law;Genevieve and Anthony Zema of Pittsburgh.
