Rinaldo (Reno) Sichi;90;formerly of North Belle Vernon;died Saturday;June 16;2001;at the home of his daughter in Commerce;Ga. A son of the late Adamo and Angelina Ceccarelli Sichi;he was born Jan.13;1911;in Italy. He was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon;the Charleroi Eagles and a life member of the North Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department. Mt.Sichi had lived most of his adult life in Belle Vernon prior to moving to Georgia in 1995. He retired in 1976 after 20 years with the North Belle Vernon Street Department. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law;Janet and William Mullen of Commerce;Ga.;a son and daughter-in-law;Carl and Joanne Sichi of Mebane;N.C.;seven grandchildren;and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Clara Ursits Sichi in 1990;and three brothers;Orlando in 1968;Edward in 1981;and Armand (Mundo) in 1998. He was a veteran of World War II;having served in the U.S.Army;and was a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. He was a steelworker for 45 years for Pittsburgh Steel and the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Allenport plant.
